Historic England Heritage Award
We worked on this historical award, with Historic England for three years. The children worked on different aspects of local History in Churwell and Morley. They used maps, photos, census records, local university students and local historians to learn about our locality in the past.
The children developed a range of history skills and a sense of local history.
We achieved our Award in February 2020 and had a special assembly to celebrate.
