Our core purpose is learning, and we support all children to learn from their own unique starting point. We also extend this to our Academy community and support staff and parents/carers to engage in the learning process

We want children to have aspiration and use their learning and experiences at Churwell Academy to support their dreams and aspirations. A broad and balanced curriculum alongside a range of purposeful and well- planned wider curriculum supports children to engage in a range of experiences.
Achieve
Achieve for the future.
We want to prepare children for the next stage of their education; this is academically alongside positive mental wellbeing. A strong SEMH curriculum exposing children to Zones of Regulation, Mindfulness and a well sequenced PSHE curriculum supports children for the transition to high school and beyond. Our Growth Mindset curriculum supports children to build resilience skills that support them both with academic and social learning.
